Hayward, CA – Lab17′s new shop officially opened its doors on Saturday with a mini car show and BBQ. Folks came from around and beyond the Bay Area to check out the facility, look at the cars (Luke Lonberger’s Blu808 turbo LS1 S14, WORKS Motorsports’ Evo X, and Conrad Grunewald’s 2010 Hankook Camaro were all on display), and get some good BBQ. Someone even brought bacon so they could make bacon-wrapped hot dogs!
DJ Tinman was spinning records to entertain the crowd, while D1GP was on the PS2 upstairs. Other notable guests included Don from Bob’s Donuts, Geoff from ThunderDrift, and Rich from Performance Options, just to name a few.
On that note, we at Lab17 would just like to thank everyone who came out to help us celebrate. Without you guys we wouldn’t be where we are today!

BROWN
The shop is lookin’ good bro! Hella room. I really like how the front office floor turned out. haha Looks good!
It was soo awesome when we ran out of hot dogs and had hella buns left, before Tinman came with more hot dogs, we cooked up the bacon and put just that in the buns. Let me tell yah, that shit was good!
Congrats on a new shop Drew! I wish I was there for the grand opening, but sadly, I was starting up my SR for the first time after I did the swap. So, I do have legit excuse why I was not there.
I hope the business blooms in super sonic speed. <3
