Laboratory17 attends SEMA Show

Las Vegas – Laboratory17 took a trip over to the SEMA Show to check out all the new products for next year and do a little networking.

Every fall, thousands of exhibitors and buyers from around the world converge on the Las Vegas Convention Center for the SEMA show, which at over two million square feet is the biggest auto specialty products trade show in the world.

South San Francisco-based N1 Concepts had their JDM Honda Fit on display, showing off a few new goodies as well as the new Laboratory17 graphics scheme.

This 253hp K20-powered Fit does double duty as a race car and a show car. In the last 18 months, it’s won six car shows, been the cover car on Super Street’s 10th anniversary issue, won Super Street’s Time Attack at Buttonwillow in the Micro class, and run consistent low-13-second passes at the drag races.

And what trip to Vegas would be complete without some partying and gambling? The presence of so many auto industry people in town meant some unique networking opportunities.

The Hot Import Nights party at the Rio, the C16/Formula Drift party at Tao in the Venetian, and the Halloween party at the Tryst were just a few of the nightly gatherings during SEMA week.

Laboratory17 is definitely attending SEMA again next year.end marker
